​RVP/Director of Sales

We are looking to hire a key leader of our go-to-market team to help accelerate growth on the path to $100M in revenue.

The Role: 

We are hiring an experienced SaaS sales leader, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, who will be integral to L2L’s leadership team and help us scale our go-to-market function. For this role we are looking for someone with manufacturing experience, and specific exposure to how plants are using technology to optimize production and productivity. This person will be a key player in helping us foster and grow our customer relationships, and will represent L2L externally as we grow our position in the connected workforce space. 

This person will also be responsible for helping us build and scale the foundation of the go-to-market strategy to set up the company for future growth. Capitalizing on our current growth and success, the Director of Sales will be responsible for growing the team, optimizing internal processes and structure, and identifying new opportunities for growth. We are looking for a leader and a builder to help us take advantage of this unique opportunity. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Hire and develop a high performing SaaS sales team across multiple customer segments and markets
  • Design and implement sales strategies to identify new markets, acquire new customers, and further expand existing customer relationships. 
  • Partner with product, sales, and other functional leads to understand and target customers’ needs and propose solutions to effectively meet customer needs. 
  • Collaborate internally to identify ways to improve processes, products, and quality in support of best business practices.
  • Create operational efficiencies to set up the L2L go-to-market for further scale, into new markets and segments
  • Manage performance evaluations, career development, coaching and training programs
  • Be a visible and vocal leader in the connected workforce space and a steward of L2L’s culture internally and externally

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related field.
  • Familiarity or prior experience in the manufacturing space highly preferred
  • 10 years of leadership experience in SaaS sales
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, coach and mentor a high performing sales team
  • Proven experience building a repeatable and predictable go-to-market strategy
  • Effective communication skills and ability to inspire collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making and to drive operational efficiency
  • Ability to motivate and inspire, and set the example within a feedback driven culture
